The builder makes editing easy — and a few habits make it safe. Follow these and you can experiment freely without ever "breaking" your site.
Duplicate before big changes
Before restructuring a page, duplicate it as a backup. If a layout experiment goes sideways, you have an instant undo — just delete the experiment and rename the copy back.
Edit small, publish often
Change one section at a time rather than rebuilding a whole page in one sitting. Small edits are easy to check and easy to reverse; marathon edits are where layouts get tangled.
Always check mobile view
Every change you make on desktop can stack differently on a phone. Toggle the mobile preview before publishing — it takes ten seconds and catches almost every layout surprise.
Respect the structure
- Move whole sections rather than dragging individual elements between sections.
- Delete carefully — removing a row removes everything inside it.
- Keep one clear call-to-action per page pointing at your form or booking calendar.
Use draft mode deliberately
Save stores a draft; Publish makes it live. Work in drafts as long as you like — nothing your visitors see changes until you publish. That's your safety net: if you're unsure, save and come back tomorrow with fresh eyes before publishing.
