How to Receive Leads From Your Website

← Back to Support Center

Your website's forms create a contact in your CRM the moment someone submits. The step that makes it a lead machine is making sure you hear about it instantly — speed of response is the biggest factor in winning the job.

Set up notifications

  1. In your account, open Settings → Notifications (or the notification step inside your form's automation).
  2. Turn on email notifications for new form submissions and confirm the address they go to.
  3. Add SMS notifications if you want a text the moment a lead comes in — for most local businesses this is the difference-maker.
  4. Install the mobile app and allow push notifications, so leads reach you wherever you are.

Respond automatically, then personally

Pair your form with an automation that instantly thanks the lead and tells them when to expect a reply. Even a simple "Got your message — we'll call you within the hour" keeps the lead from moving on to a competitor while they wait. Then follow up personally as soon as you can.

Check the pipeline, not just your inbox

Every submission also appears in your CRM under Contacts and in Conversations — so even if an email notification ever lands in spam, the lead itself is never lost. See Where Website Leads Show Up.

Test the whole path once a month: submit your own form and time how long it takes for the notification to reach you. Here's how.
